Cost of living support and warm spaces

Community Action Bradford and District, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, and Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership (Act as One) have put together a booklet and website detailing all of the different support that is available to help people struggling with the cost of living.

The site includes sources of help with lots of different things, including:

• energy and bills
• food
• housing
• debt and gambling
• savings and scams
• health and wellbeing

The new site also includes a complete directory of warm spaces – venues where people can gather for free in a warm, safe, welcoming place, and maybe enjoy a hot drink and some company: libraries, community centres, church halls, sports clubs and other places that are opening their doors to welcome in anyone struggling to heat their home. The directory is being continually updated.
