How do I find it?

The Storehouse is located just south of Bradford city centre, near the main police station, just off the junction of Wakefield Road, the Shipley Airedale Road and Croft Street.

It is around 7 minutes’ walk from Bradford Interchange, 12 minutes’ walk from City Park, or 18 minutes’ walk from Bradford Forster Square.

The building frontage has a colourful ‘graffiti-style’ mural on. Please ring the doorbell on the front of the building. For events, please head down the alley to the left-hand side of the warehouse door and up the metal stairs.

There is a small amount of parking in front of the building for loading and unloading. There is also plenty of free parking on the surrounding streets.

Unfortunately our café meeting space is upstairs and not accessible.

How do I find it?

Darley Street Market is located on Darley Street in Bradford city centre, just up from the Broadway shopping centre, and next to the Kirkgate Centre, where Marks and Spencer’s used to be.

It is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Bradford Forster Square or City Park, or around 9 minutes’ walk from Bradford Interchange.

The Cookery School and Wellnest are on the first (middle) floor, at the South-East corner next to the big windows overlooking the public square. There are several entrances to the market:

• the North-West entrance on Darley Street will take you into the correct floor – we’re in the far corner, diagonally opposite
• from the South-West entrance on Darley Street (by the courtyard gates), head up one floor in the stairs or lift just inside the entrance (to floor 1), and then head to the other end of the big glass windows to find us
• from the entrance on Piccadilly, head up half a flight of stairs to floor 1 and head to the far end

The closest parking to Darley Street Market is The Broadway Shopping Centre, around 5 minutes’ walk away, or the small Simes Street and Rawson Road car parks in the other direction. There is a very limited amount of on-street short-stay parking on the streets above the market.

The market is fully wheelchair accessible.

FoodSavers Leeds Cookery School is located at the heart of Kirkgate Market, at the top of row 5 in the 1875 hall – look out for the green and gold stalls.

Kirkgate Market is located between the Corn Exchange and John Lewis, with entrances off Vicar Lane, George Street, Kirkgate and New York Streets. It is immediately adjacent to Leeds Bus Station, and around ten minutes’ walk from Leeds Rail Station.

The cookery school is towards the north-west corner of the market, on the edge of the 1875 hall where it meets the 1904 hall.
