Saying thank you to our volunteers

Inn Churches is able to do a huge amount with a tiny number of staff, thanks to our amazing and wonderful volunteers, to whom we are hugely grateful.

We think we have over 850 volunteers helping in our warehouse, in our café and across the 17 or so venues of our Winter Shelter.

Whilst we can never repay the amazing amount of work they do for us (and we know that they don’t do it to be repaid!), we like to do a little something each year to show our appreciation.

So last Friday night we threw open the Storehouse Café doors to nearly 100 of our volunteers, shared a tasty picnic of cheese, crackers and canapés and enjoyed the funk and soul stylings of the wonderful Motif.

It was great to have so many volunteers together to be able to thank them in a small way for their generosity and commitment.

And if you want to be at next year’s thank you event, why not consider volunteering for us this year – whether that’s regularly in our warehouse or café, or during a week or two of our Winter Shelter, whatever works best for you.
