Winter Shelter 2022-23

We’re pleased to be opening our winter shelter this year, for the first time in three years. We’ll be operating from 5th December 2022 to 19th March 2023, with twelve churches hosting. We’ll be working with the Bradford Housing Outreach Partnership and other homeless charities across Bradford to ensure that together we can house as many people as possible, whilst working to support them off the streets and into longer term accommodation.

The shelter takes several hundred volunteers to run and we always welcome new volunteers: we can match you with the most appropriate host venue and week. Our first volunteer training sessions will be at 2pm and 6pm on Friday 25th November 2022 and we will run further sessions as required. Get in touch with us for details.

We also welcome new host churches. We can provide you with full details, manuals and support for running a week of the shelter, and we have weeks available this year.
